    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - Top
Q: How will I open and close my program?
A: The open and close generally consists of both audio and video that remains consistent with both, where the audio potion contains possibly some type of theme music and/or voice-over, etc. and the video portion acting as a background to display titles and credits over, respectively. Credits consist mainly of information regarding the individuals contributing towards the production of your program, i.e. “Producer”, “Director”, etc., and possibly a means of correspondence. If you need assistance in developing an open and close for your program, contact your Coordinator.

Q: How many studio camera operators will I need?
A: The Company’s production studio utilizes a standard 3 camera-type set-up. Depending upon the complexity of your program’s production, generally one to two operators will be sufficient. Contact your Coordinator to address your specific needs.

Q: What time will my show be on?
A: Once you have submitted four completed programs (30 minute programs only), the tapes will be reviewed by your Coordinator for any issues regarding technical requirements such as audio, video, etc. Once the Company has accepted those programs, your program will be assigned to the best available “time slot” in the event the material does not warrant a later showing. This slot will remain in effect until January of each year, at which time a new “time slot” will take effect based upon the assignment your program receives in the Lottery conducted annually. “Specials” are programs longer than 30 minutes in length and are limited to only one per quarter. They are generally assigned to “time slots” on an evening set aside for this type of programming only and will be determined on a “first come, first served” basis.

Q: Is there any way to determine how many people are watching my show?
A: Since the Public Access channel does not sell commercial time to advertisers; no surveys are conducted to determine viewership. As of May 2001, there are over 360,000 cable subscribers, any or all of which could potentially be watching your program!
